Constructed from fiber-reinforced natural concrete and supported by an iron frame, this piece is quite heavy and may require 1-3 people for assembly and movement. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. To extend its lifespan outdoors, place it under covered areas and use furniture covers to protect it from the elements, or bring it indoors during harsh weather. Be aware that the jet black color may absorb heat if left in direct sunlight.

Sunlight and water can significantly affect stone and concrete over time. We recommend using felt pads and coasters under items that remain on the tabletop for extended periods to prevent moisture transfer and discoloration.

For maintenance, periodically re-wax the surface with a paraffin-based stone floor wax. Wax within two months of installation and every six months thereafter, depending on usage and location. If placed outdoors, ensure it’s well-waxed before winter. Should hairline cracks appear, apply a thick coat of wax immediately and rub it in well to prevent moisture penetration and discoloration.

Additional care tips: cover the table and elevate it off the ground when not in use, and avoid contact with acidic substances like citrus or olive oil, as they can degrade the wax protection and finish, leading to reduced stain resistance.
